For starters, the first think that you will see when you receive the Cowin E8 is a solid protective box that contains a massive travel case, the headphone itself, the cabling, a 6.3 mm, a channel separator adapter, a 3.5 mm and micro usb cable and the user guide that shows many languages. Even though, the box is chunky, it will serve its main goal that is to shield the headphones against any damage.
The aesthetic side of the item is nice; especially for the display of golden areas that makes them singularly attractive. They also look like will be resistant to the daily use. The earpads are comfortable, and the metallic areas confirm its sturdy appearance.
As we said before the Cowin E8 are very comfortable to wear, even more considering that they are over-the-ear headphones. The fact that the item has pads all around the areas that have contact with your head is something invaluable when you use headphones for a long period of time.
About the sound, the ANC works really well and Cowin worked a lot to improve it. Beyond that, it feels crispy and deep enough to listen most of the music styles.
Cowin E8 Performance
The highlight of the performance of this unit is without a doubt the noise canceling feature, but it is also remarkable that without using the ANC, the isolation that the headphone shows is excellent, resulting in a much better experience when listening to music, avoiding the annoying distraction that external noises mean. Besides, when you enable the ANC, the performance of the sound displays a minimum loss of quality. The only drawback that these aspects of the item show is that, in our humble opinion, the bass capability could be better.
Regarding comfort, the E8 headphones are on the larger side and come with a tight grip which help you to keeps them attached to your head without to be scared about falling off, no matter how violent are the movements of your head.
Bluetooth 5.0, Microphone and Controls
As most of the headphones from Cowin the E8 Bluetooth pairing is very easy, and most important gives you great audio quality. The only thing that you have to do is just power on the E8, select the E8 on the Bluetooth preferences of your device and the feature will do the rest with the latest registered device, but if it has been not paired before it will switch to pairing mode automatically.
The Bluetooth capability gives you the ability to stay wireless, and considering that the Cowin E8 comes with a built in microphone, you will have the ability to make phone calls from a more distant location.
Talking about controls, the unit shows a power button that is also used to play/pause and pairing button, another button that is use as a previous/next button, that is also used to control the volume, and a switch that allow to enabling/disabling the ANC noise cancelling feature.

Design and Materials
The materials that are used in this article are of good quality, especially the metallic parts. The plastic sections, we would say that without being of bad quality neither are top notch, and the same could be said about the golden areas that gives a nice look to the article, but they also look a little weak.
Regarding to the design, you are going to see several controls on the right ear cup of the unit. Between the controls that are present you are going to find the noise cancellation switch, beside the power button and the volume control. The item also comes with a mini USB port, and an extra port, in case that you want to use the headphone in wired mode.
Some people complain about the size of the unit, but sincerely we think that is a trade of between sturdiness, price and comfort. Meaning that if someone is looking for an affordable headphone, in some way have to sacrifice comfort or sturdiness.

All in all, the headphones are good, a little bulky but I can live with it. The battery life of the E8 is 20 hours, which is enough for a few days of use.Good value and a nice upgrade from the E7.
I bought the E8 headphones, because I travel a lot and also because I work often in open office settings. After a couple of weeks using them I really like them. I was looking for a nice noise cancelling headphones that showed a reasonable price. The price of the Cowin E8 is right for my pocket, and the quality ok.
The battery life is awesome; I can even get two or three days of usage without recharge. The only thing that I would change is the power button, which I would prefer to be a power switch. I would recommend them.
I loved the crafted case, in which the headphones come, and even thought they look a little big, they are lightweight. The accessories, meaning wires and adapters, seem also of good quality, and beyond that they come with the regular adapter and also with an extra one for using in airplanes. Great deal.

Cowin E8 Bluetooth Audio Wireless Headphones Review Wrap Up
Our conclusion is that the Cowin E8 is an excellent value product. It is true that it is a little bulky, but considering other similar headphone in the same price range, we think that is not easy to find better value. The construction materials are of reasonable good quality, and the customer service is second to non. Obviously the most sophisticated brands have better quality products, but the price differential is quite meaningful for people that have some budget restrictions.
